Dr Lisa Mifsud smiling at Andrew Place Clinic.

Graduating from the University of Tasmania in 2010, Dr. Mifsud honed her skills at institutions such as the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, and Melbourne Sexual Health before transitioning to General Practice Training.

Currently based at Andrew Place Clinic Bundoora and Mill Park, she assumed the role of Practice Associate in 2016. Dr. Mifsud's professional focus lies primarily in women's and sexual health, offering specialised services such as shared maternity care with local hospitals, as well as procedures including Intrauterine Device and Implanon NXT insertions. She also provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi), supporting patients with evidence-based strategies to improve sleep. While her passion lies in caring for women across all life stages—from contraception and fertility to perimenopause and menopause—Dr. Mifsud also enjoys the breadth of general practice and supports men through their own health journeys.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mifsud plays a pivotal role in medical education. She is currently a supervisor of GP registrars, the RACGP Head of Training for General Practice Training in Metro East Victoria, and a former RACGP examiner. Lisa is deeply committed to shaping the next generation of medical professionals.

Her dedication to education also extends beyond the clinic, delivering engaging health webinars to the general public through Corporate Health Management.
